OtherSpace: Roleplaying Olympics!
 

It’s time for the Summer Olympics again. We’re getting in the spirit with a series of our own Olympic activities on the website and in-game. Gold medalists in each category will get 1,000 SP and a badge. Silver medalists get 500 SP and a badge. Bronze medalists get 250 and a badge. Here’s a quick rundown on the activities we’ve got planned:

Website:


Descriptions: Human Characters, Alien Characters, Ancient Ruins, Populated Cities, Castles, Primitive Jungles, Apartments, Offices, Starship Exteriors, Starship Interiors, Gadgets, Vehicles.

Plot Ideas: Solo Adventures, Group Adventures, Story Arcs.

Character Concepts: In 150 characters or less, suggest concepts for new characters that would fit on the MUSH.

Flash Fiction: Write stories from the OtherSpace universe in 99 words or less.

In-Game:

Posing: Whose Pose Is It Anyway? – audience/judges give the circumstances and the player RPs it. Judging is based on speed, quality of poses.

Dialogue: Audience/judges give the circumstances and two players at a time communicate about those circumstances only through dialogue. Judging is based on speed, quality of dialogue.

In the Arena: Players face a series of out-of-character challenges using their sheets and taskrolls. You won’t know what skill will be tested until the judges tell you. (Juicing with action cards is allowed!)
