Theme:
Realistic medieval theme with addition of down-toned fantasy. Our prime goal is achieving a very high quality roleplay environment without reducing gameplay factors. Research is considered a must when planning particularly important zones, where everything needs to be realistic.

Engine:
Some resemblance of SMAUG, called TRE [the River’s edge code]. Building is done OLC with very powerful tools allowing MOB, item and room programs for enhanced creation. A player-friendly interference with lots of interesting features. The MUD will be centred around the webpage for future use.

Builder:
Dedicated and experienced builders aiming for perfection and with the ability to work both solo and in team with frequent progress. Good grammar and spelling is a demand, as well as samples of work sent in with application. Recommended age: above 16 years old. Zones can be given to builders or constructed from their own ideas.

Eat meat? Must have been richer than normal peasants.

Meat was very rare, even in the rotten variety, vegetables were more the norm.

Tofu-beef. When I was doing the peasant thing in France in the 11th century, we ate a lot of it.
