LegendMUD has just celebrated its 13th birthday in February, and following tradition, we've added a ton of great new features this month. They include:

- Player accounts! Create an account, and you can view and manage all of your characters more easily than ever. Create new characters from the account menu to instantly transfer your color and prompt settings, and add your unused characters so they stay active without the need to archive them!

- New resurrect spell, and changes to Deathtraps! If you've died and your corpse is especially troublesome to get to, contract a mage to transfer it to a safe place with the resurrect spell. This works even if you've perished in a Deathtrap, so you can always get your gear back!

- Automated auction system! This is a returning feature from the old days, tweaked to make it more functional than ever. Sell your items or buy someone else's, and have the transaction conducted from afar instantly when the auction ends!

- New area: Medieval Japan! An area that has long been in demand has finally arrived to add an Eastern flavor to Legend. Enter the mystical land as a lowly gaijin, but earn the respect of the locals and rise to earn the noble title of samurai. You'll even have the chance to assist Tokugawa Ieyasu's bid to become Shogun.

- New website! The new <a href=" target="_blank">LegendMUD.org</a> is nicer looking, easier to navigate, and more packed with helpful info than ever before! If you're a newcomer to Legend, have a stop by and read more info about what makes us such a great place to make your MUD home.

- New stat spells! A whole group of new magic spells has been added so that whatever stat you need a boost in, your magic or your friends' magic can help you out!
