X-Men: A New Strain

Presently the game is in Alpha. What that means is while the game has the code needed to run as well as a small (tiny) grid. It does not have much else. Right now we are seeking out a few players to test the code, point out what is fun and what is not in order to make a better game moving us from Alpha to open.

The setting takes place right after the X3 movie. Charles, Scott, and Jean are all dead. Magneto, Rogue, and Mystique no longer have their powers. The world does not seem to have any major threats, however both the Brotherhood as well as Xaiver's school are weakened with many others rising up to fill in the power gap. A war still may be on the horizon...

This game is one focused purely on original characters. While Wolverine and Storm run Xaiver's school they and all other FCs are considered off camera NPCs. FCs may exist, but they exist in the background. Like the president of HASBRO they will not ever be on camera or referenced in play. The stories told here are about the characters you make. Hero, villain, or perhaps someone caught in between.
