Fluxian Nobel Prize
 

About once a quarter, we do the Fluxian Nobel. This is very much like the Earther Nobel prize for a good idea and there is a one million reward for it. Its typically well advertised, and an acceptance speech is given and recorded for posterity. We try to get as many players as possible together for this most social event.

There isnt a whole lot of social gatherings like this one, but we try to make this one as special as possible, both for public recognition of player submitted ideas that were implemented, and for the party afterwards. Sometimes a lot of new ideas come from the party itself, as it puts people in a rather creative mood. There is also the "Hey, me too!" aspect, where people actually think about new things that might be possible.

In all, it works out well, both for experienced and new players alike.
