Second Life Lawsuit - Copyright infringement in game.

Just read this post over at Techcrunch:

Basically, a second life user created in game "sex beds" for sale. Another user copied them and also sold them in game. First user is suing second user for copyright infringement.

As most MUDs allow some kind of player created items or crafting, this could be one worth watching.

As I understand it you can convert between virtual money and RL money in Second Life. Check . I might misunderstand it but if that is true it kinda makes this a bit more interesting. The user that copied the beds might actually have received RL money from it.
