For any players interested, will be hosting a HellNight this Friday evening (1/3/03) beginning at about 2200 hrs EST (or whenever players start requesting it at the primary server).

The HellServer will be located at darkforest.uwyo.edu:4666, and 'free' avatars/equipment will be provided for this night only, to better enable the PK massacre.  Naturally, no statistics will be saved.  We are hoping to have a massive clan war between the "bloods" and "crips" if enough people show up, so please brings your dirks and bad attitudes!

Any interested parties are naturally welcome to come to the regular mud (located darkforest.uwyo.edu:4000) to familiarize themselves with the areas and how they are linked up, or with any tweaks made to the game mechanics.

For parties curious, DarkForest runs a not-quite stock Smaug installation, with custom patches applied to try to better balance a few things...  mostly stock areas, so it is easy to hunt people, and find your way around, but there are several very large add-ons in progress (Great Eastern Desert...)
