Maybe I'm just being prickly today, but everytime we have these continuing stories it seems that several, in particular Wenlin, ruins it by making it almost instantly goofy and or stupidly rediculous. Now I don't mind this, I'm pretty goofy and rediculous myself (look at my log-in nick) but I'd like to have a good solid story just once. How about it Wenlin and Co.?

Ahem, fine fine...I'll edit it...You're lucky I have nothing better to do than to go to TMS every 10 minutes.

You want a good story for once, make another thread saying "Good Story for Once." Now there's an idea...

I think the point of having continuous stories is so that everyone can contribute to a tale in their own way. If some people want to make it a crazy tale, that's fine by me. It's just a bit of fun. If you want a serious and real (ish) story, write your own.

What annoys me is the fact that the stories always seem to dry up. I don't know why, but I haven't seen a story that got further than 4 pages before we (I) had to start another. Sigh.

Thats my point exactly. I don't have a problem with silly, it's that the story usually gets so stupid that it loses interest.

How 'bout this.... We make one continuing story, and never make another one? If people are posting in 3 different threads, they are going to get sick of it. For example, I don't do continuing story anymore because i don't like having to read new stories.

Sounds like a good idea, but I end up getting bored when nobody posts in a story for a month or so. You're right, though, I should stop making new stories because it gets confusing. I guess it's just me being obsessive. Sorry, guys.

As of this day, I will not create any more continuing story threads. I'll just have to be patient (or spend more time in the Tavern of the Blue Hand)
