Hello,
I am a student doing master in Media and Cultural
Studies, writing thesis. As a part of my study, I need MUDders to share their experinces on MUD identity (includes gender,
ethnicity, race etc.) and MUD romance. I would like to know what kind of characters are created and why; what kind of
experiences players have had; whether these characters have affected daily lives of players or not; whether these characters have changed players way of thought on race, gender, ethnicity in RL and how.
MUD romance includes both character-character and player-player romance. I would like to learn "interesting" (according to player, i cannot define) anecdotes.

Well, that's what we've been talking about all this time.

You can find any number of threads about those topics with a little browsing. As of now, you're asking questions that seem too broad to me. I think the best way for you to pursue this would be to join existing threads in appropriate forums and ask questions about those, specific topics.
