InfernoMOO is an offshoot of HellMOO, with the objective of taking what is good about HellMOO and making it better, and taking what is bad about it and removing it. Among the things removed are unnecessary grinding, the mutilation of children as a game advancement mechanic, and many restrictions on PvP.

The mutation system from HellMOO has been reworked, as well as the advancement of stats. There are several new sets of armor, new types of implants to increase your character's stats, and ongoing projects to add new areas and other game mechanics. However, we're a little low on players as a result of our change to alpha, so we could really use an influx of them to help out with testing and balance. Staff applications are also almost always open on Inferno, but I'm making this post with the intent on gaining players.
