When you've got something potentially newsworthy and want to tell the wider online gaming world about it, a press release is a useful way to go about it. Here's a list of email addresses and web submission forms that you might want to submit to. It's hardly exhaustive, but gaming news sites are very incestuous. They steal news from each other all the time, so getting it up in one or two places means it will probably spread to others. For instance, we found our press release about Lusternia leaving open beta (hardly a major event in the wider world of online games) on sites in Chinese, Hungarian, etc.
