Star Conquest: Catalyst

Humanity has finally reclaimed its sectors from the Outsiders, but their threats have not ended yet. The IFS has staged attacks, and the new appearance of RATS which are capable of consuming starships piece by piece have brought tensions to a high. An alliance has been made between the AEU, Fringe, and League, but with the AEU and Fringe not paying their parts of the reparations tensions are getting high between the two. Piracy and terrorism has already occurred and things may flare up at any time.

--------------------------
Things to point out:

-Starship combat
This is definitely the best feature of this game. The starship combat is intense and has a well-thought-out three dimensional battle-field. Single pilots or crews must work together to take down the adversaries invading their sectors. But don't be distressed if you don't want nonstop combat! There are plenty of industry activities for pilots to help their alliances in the Conquest!

-Unique point system.
Another wonderful feature of the game. There are no skills learned or levels gained, your character develops completely based on your playing. You can earn points by engaging in the various activities available to gain money such as Exploring, Battlesuit Combat, and Asteroid Hauling (There are many more activities!). These points give you the ability to buy bigger ships, but your character will only show combat improvement as you learn how to engage in the fights, earning both skills and combat points.

-Conquest system
Each alliance competes with each other alliance every four day interval to battle for the top spot in the Conquest. The better your alliance provides through successful war, exploration, or industry tasks, the more Conquest points your alliance will receive. The top dog earns a stronger navy presence, less foreign tax on all purchases, and a decrease in necessary points for starship components. However, should your alliance fall into laziness you'll suffer the opposite for the remainder of the Conquest period!

-Amazing hosts and players
If you can't get help from fellow players on the newbie channel (which would be very rare), TR NEW <message>, you can definitely expect that the hosts will come to your assistance. There are two commands for contacting the hosts:
REPORT and ASSIST, in which they will do their best to solve your problems. There's always at least one host available.

The Alliances
-The various alliances all have different backstories and ships available.

*The AEU is known for their immense speed, their ships are armed with more turrets than any other league's. Their lasers fire quickly and dangerously, and they're no easy target with their ships' speed bonuses. The AEU are great at exploring with ship batteries that can last for days. -If you enjoy being the quickest hitter, but not the hardest, and want to embark on journeys in uncharted space with much success, the AEU is your home.
- The AEU mainly revolves around New Earth in sector 21.

*The League specializes in heavy defense, and they are also great traders (owning the biggest cargo ship available). If you choose the League expect to be an jack of all trades with a good balance of launchers and turrets they can stay in the fight for a long time. The League is the most like the world today. -If you want to do well at every aspect of the Star Conquest world, the League is a great fit for you.
- The League can be found centralized around Old Earth in sector 13.

*The Fringe specializes in heavy weaponry. Expect Fringe ships to have more torpedo launchers than anyone else around. These guys can make enemies explode faster than anybody else in the skies- but their ships don't have the defense or speed of the AEU, so be prepared to fly keenly! Growing from much poorer planets than the other leagues, the Fringe have learned how to defend themselves and were last to fall to the Outsiders. -Come to the Fringe if you have a heart for combat.
- The Fringe centralize around the planet of Chetumal, in sector 28.

*The Mutuality possesses ships unlike any other alliance's. They live towards the rim of Known Space. Born and raised on space stations, their lives have been considerably tougher than the other alliances. Be warned: The Mutuality requires very hefty RP and demands much of it's players as they keep to themselves more than the other three alliances- if you are a person of rigor this is the place for you!
- The Mutuality center around Helios, far away from Interalliance space (which belongs to the other three.

Consider this info along with the information given when you create your character in-game. Your alliance will be a major part of your character's RP, as will the backstory you give your character.
