We are seeking a qualified Lead Area Designer/Head Builder to manage and lead a team of builders. This person must be a self-starter motivated and passionate builder. Preferably having experience as a head builder, and experienced in ROM OLC. Specifically, Ivans 1.8 for ROM. Experience with mob programs is greatly desired. This is a creator level position, which could expand into a co-implementer position. We are looking for someone who can see a vision, a concept, and translate that into areas that blend together seamlessly and thoughtfully. Someone to train and mentor lower level area designers. Now a little about our MUD.
EOD is an advanced technology MUD. It’s based on ROM, but offers many advanced concepts. EOD itself is loosely based around World of Warcraft MMORPG style game play, in that there are two warring factions which is based on race, who defend there territories, against each other. However Despite using the WoW game mechanics, we will wrap the world in a custom theme and setting. Although PVP is definitely a part of the game, it will also be a home for roleplaying. We think we have a very nice balance between the two, offering features for both sides.
