I can't say that it would hurt anything, but I can't say that there is a need either.

Also, having first learned MUDs through Terris/GemStone/DragonRealms/ModusOperandi, I have to say that when the Terris code got leaked and I saw it, I laughed so hard that I cried. Dunno about the GS/DR codes, but wow, that was a mess.
