I tried to find some good reference about it but few seem to write that much about the grind in mmrpgs. mentions some about it but the poster doesn't really suggest any solution. There is a definition of the concept at .

So is the grind an issue in MUDs/mmrpgs, and how could it be resolved? Does anyone have any examples of MUDs/mmrpgs with heavy/light/none grinding(please explain why)?
