I'm not exactly sure which description you are talking about. The ranking list consists of the site title and the site description. You can change either of these via the Edit your Site link, but they won't become live until the list reranks again, which is every 10 minutes.
If you're talking about the database, that's an entirely different creature, and you log in via the Edit your Mud link and it should be self-explanatory.
