Unaware of their Xanadu-based wingleader steadily getting in too deep, Azov Weyr is celebrating the hatching of Tachryleith's latest clutch and keeping a steady eye on the horizon for Thread, now just weeks away. How steady can their eye be, though, when the entire Weyr believes the Weyrleader is about to be replaced, just as soon as the aged Tiangliath decides to take to the skies?

Set in a unique fusion of town and weyr, Second Pass offers unique opportunities for non-riders to participate in game-wide plots. Come be a terrified business owner afraid the Threadproofing on her ceiling won't hold, or a College Professor convinced that even with the new printing presses, his students are growing ever more illiterate.

We are in particular, looking for a town councilor to help push non-rider storylines: isn't democracy manifestly ill-prepared to deal with the challenges of surviving a fifty year Fall? We're also still looking for a man or woman crazy enough to dare fight Thread on foot as our Groundcrew Captain.
