It is.
I remember the Compass, and there were also Joke Books (thought you really had to try reading the small print) and Coloring Books (at least you got an 'A' for effort for tying to coloring)
Apparently, the company went safe when too many children tried putting the toys into their mouths--or assumed they did (like with lead gaming minitures) and decidied on 'non-choking' items.
