Re: Looking for new home!

(godwars2.org 3000) fulfills your requirements as follows:

1. Customisable colour scheme, using extended colour (if your client supports it). Equipment names are colour-coded to indicate magic type/rarity - and they're also clickable links, if your client supports MXP, so you can pick up items by clicking on them with your mouse.

2. Most classes can summon pets and/or mounts. For example a demon can summon a warbeast (which serves as a mount), an imp (which casts spells, and can sit on your shoulder if you wish) and a hellhound pup (although it grows and becomes stronger as it kills things). Later, the demon might unlock the Hellhound warp (warps allow customised shapechanging), then take Lead the Pack, Pack Bond and Pack Rage - they can now shapechange into a hellhound and summon two more hellhounds as pets to assist them. They could even apply the warp to their imp, turning in into a tiny hellhound which stands on the player's back, occasionally flying off to scout the surrounding area.

3. There are ASCII maps or (if you use Mudlet or the ) graphical ones - see , and .

4. By "proccing" I assume you're referring to weapons that do special things under certain conditions? Every weapon has its own set of moves and combos, so (as a random example) if you're using a whip you can use it to disarm someone, trip them, temporarily deafen them, etc. Magic items also have various random abilities, such as bursts (a chance of a secondary attack, such as electrocuting someone you've just stabbed), and can be customised through various means.

5. It's a non-roleplaying mud.

6. Although you can only pick one of the six classes, it's possible to have minor abilities from other classes by taking the appropriate talents - for example a vampire might take Desert Wolfkin (technically a werewolf talent) to enhance their wolf form, or Magically Gifted (technically a mage talent) to increase their spellcasting ability. In addition, there are over 300 subclasses representing specialised builds, for example a dragon might branch off into wyvern, hydra, serpent, dracolich, etc, while a titan might become a storm giant, wendigo, cyclops, ettin, and so on.

7. The basic crafting system is pretty simple - some monsters drop fragments of raw material, which you can convert into an item of your choice. However there are also various ways to further customise gear, for example a werewolf might use Moon Weaving or Lunar Forging to transform an item and then enhance it, or Spirit Binding to add additional bonuses to certain equipment, or Fang Forging to collect teeth and fangs from their enemies, forging them into necklaces and bracelets, and so on. There are also epic items which are particularly potent (although each player can only use one at a time), and are customised rather than being randomly generated.
