I flipped through some of the links on this thread, and I think the problem is that only players of the one MUD being discussed would 'get it'. They're not really being written for MUD players in general.

I'm sure humor based on the finer points of powerwalking vs. running on Armageddon are hilarious if you know what they are and all, though.
