I'm unable to find any EmpireMUDs through google or topmudsites or mudconnect. I did find one that seemed to be up and it was listed as the first result. But, I wasn't able to connect to it, gave me a connection error.

I remember a year or two ago seeing a few that were alive, but now I'm unable to find any. Mudconnect when I typed in EmpireMUD in the search gave me two results, and both of them were down or not running anymore.

I thought they were really fun, especially since I like age of empire type games and even better since it was in MUD form. I remembered them today, and thought I would play one...but guess not

Anyone know of any MUDs similar to EmpireMUD or based on it that are running? I do know of Dwarf Fortress, but I don't think thats online like EmpireMUD is/was.
