We are not a new mud, Shattered Lands has been open and stable for many years. Let me give you a few of the highlights.
Diku customized mud.
Extensive mprog additions, and enhanced grouping features.
New item augmentation, items can be unique from anyone else's equipment through special hard to find items that changes an items stats.
Automated quest system with updated features such as extended information, area access by questing, in quest info and a quest stat feature that allows you to see quest eq stats before you buy the item. Also you can sell back the items if they are no use to you.
Also Immortal run quests. Immortals are very active and respond as quickly as possible to questions and concerns.
Extensive skills/spells list. Very customized skills and spells for each class. Not your normal making one skill or spell do 10 different things for every class.
Custom maps to make exploring easier for all. We are going to work on making an overhead map to make exploring even easier.
A Unique area list where typing area and the name of the area will give the player extensive information about the area they are wanting to explore.
Many original areas to explore with more being added frequently. Very active, mature immortal staff.
Several clans to choose from with a clan ranking system and several clan features such as customizing clan halls. Recently updated clan system with clan bank and new ranking system.
A lot of games claim balanced races and classes but we believe we have perfected balance. Races all have unique abilities.
Pk friendly without having to worry about being constantly pk'd.
An arena system where you can challenge other players to a dual without having to be involved in pk.

An overhead map system.
A new menu based creation system.
A new leveling system uniquely for remorted characters. Will include nobility and legend characters.
