If you're currently using mob charts, I would advise to put it onto graph paper and plot it out, and then derive the formulas from the graphs. (I'm sure you could do it another way, but I suck at math, so that's how I would do it.)
Make some autosets, for varying difficulty of mobs, and exp should already be formula-based upon level...
