I'm happy to report that the roleplay event went well; everyone involved seems satisfied that it was a smashing success. Accursed Lands is unlike most other MUDs, with a ton of custom, high-quality code and an original theme. Unfortunately, the number one criticism from new players is that our MUD is difficult to learn, and the second criticism is that it is difficult to find other players to RP with (even though others are logged on) because the world is so large. We have been making great strides with our "newbie-friendliness" lately, and this sort of roleplaying event is one aspect of our new strategy to retain more of the players who give us a try.

Another newbie roleplaying event in the same vein is scheduled for Saturday, December 1st, at 9:30am PST. If you are in the mood to try out a new MUD, or you had trouble with Accursed Lands the first time you gave it a shot, we hope you'll take advantage of this roleplay event.
