Dear folks:
As you know, we're been in existence over fifteen years so far. We figured it was time to take a look at what we've been doing and see how it could be even better.
After much discussion, our plan of action has emerged.
We'll be running the current game up to June 1, 2007. On that day, the doors will close forever on that world and we'll be opening up a new version of the game.
On that day, sad to say, current characters will see their stories end or fade into NPChood. But yplayers will be able to start new characters in a world that features the same emphasis on harsh survival, accompanied by murder, corruption, and betrayal as well as improved code and the same high quality of building and staff attention the game is noted for.
The next version of the game will feature:
· New races, cultures, and areas
· Some remnants of this world, but translated by time and catastrophe
· A new class system that allows more character specialization
· Improved and expanded code
· Better integration of game and discussion board accounts
· A new website
· The same high caliber roleplay
While our primary focus is getting the new game up and running, major plotlines are underway that will allow player actions and decisions to shape the upcoming world.
If you're an old player in good standing, the next six months are your last chance to wander the streets of Allanak and Tuluk in their current form. We invite you to come help say goodbye to the world and shape its next incarnation.
