Arrow The Isles of Adrasteia

Hallo folks

I'm making the rounds trying to get a new MUD, The Isles of Adrasteia some air time and traffic.

We're at and are one of a few existing custom php coded MUDs, along the lines of Karchan and The World Called Hollow that are available on the internet. The game is based entirely on line, with no need to download a client or access via telnet and so is beyond simple to access and play.

We're an explorable RPI dungeon for text based role play, and are very receptive to input from role players regarding collaborative world expansion. Basically you can think of us as a sandbox world that can, for the most part become whatever you want it to be, so long as that concept is role played into existence and can fit reasonably into the existing framework lore. (which is very broad/general)

We have a clean, customizable, and very user friendly MUD interface, an established world origin base concept, a streamlined, easy to use wiki, and a deep emphasis on the collaborative writing and storytelling experience that free form role play can provide. The writing is our focus, unquestionably, so providing story for others to plug into, or finding ways to join ongoing story lines or Arcs would definitely be the primary expectation. (While role play is the primary focus, there is a stat system in existence that rewards quality and quantity of rp with fame points that can be used to gain permissions to establish guilds, clans or militias, as well as potentially petition for area leadership politically. Details can be found on the Fame Points page of the wiki.)

Our advice? Don't come alone, grab a friend, find a cool room and start writing together. We'll find each other and the rest will be history ;p Peak player activity time currently runs between 6pm ET and 1am ET .

Thank you for at least considering a visit. See you around I hope.

Astra.
