Question

From a Sociological view point you can trust somebody to do anything: Mow your lawn, watch your kids, handle your finances, etc. But there are many different categories of actions that you can assign a value of trust to, and these categories have different means of collecting that trust. Trust in one category does not always imply trust in other categories; the babysitter I trust to watch my children is not the same person I trust to handle my investments.

Your example here is roleplaying, but what does the level of trust affect? What are the goals of the system? What other areas of trust are you considering? As it stands it could encompass everything and you'd need a PhD in Sociology to unravel it =).
