In the short time since the survivors have begun to snap from their slumber, it became evident that something was very wrong on the ship that has become both their home - and their prison. Blast-doors locked down by sometimes lethal computer security systems, labeled with the word 'Quarantine'. Loud, strange noises coming from the Deck above them. The computer's continued proclamation of the ship being locked down in "Code Black". Older survivors who claim to have been awake for over four hundred sleep cycles, only to see events play out as if they were in a loop. Horrifying, spectral encounters with an entity that has only vengeance on its mind. The loss of food stores, threatening everyone on the sealed up Deck with starvation, pushing tempers high, and even turning some survivors to cannabalism. Most of all, the 'mutants', as the survivors call them - creatures that seem vaguely human, who were once a friend, an enemy, a stranger; these beings fight with supernatural strength and constitution, not even slowing when decapitated, and the only sign of sentience they show is for a desire to murder.

But already, there have been brief glimmers of hope in the dreary lives of those who wake up from cryo-stasis with no memories of their pasts. Sacrifice. Humor. Innovation. The re-building of society from scratch. Protecting children and those who cannot fend for themselves.

But the prevalent questions on nearly every survivor's mind have been ... what happens once we run out of food? What is beyond the sealed Quarantine doors that lead up to the other Decks of the ship?
