Well, I know a lot of people listen to specific music while roleplaying, and we even tested out sound effects for parts of our mud. It seemed to really make people enjoy things.

So, I will totally agree that stimulating other senses while roleplaying can enhance the feelings generated by the experience. You'll have to let us know how it goes.
