Over the next couple months, LegendMUD will be hosting a number
of special events to celebrate the summer. If you haven't stopped
in and given us a try, now is a great time to do so!

---July 4th - Independence Day Celebration---

Like every year, the staff at LegendMUD will be hosting a day-long
celebration on the 4th of July. We like to keep the specifics a
surprise until the day of, but plan on games and custom item strings
to be available!

---July 14th - Bastille Day Casino Game---

To celebrate Bastille Day, the staff will be hosting a 'casino event'.
Casino events are run a few times a year and is a game structured to
be available from everyone from a brand new player to a seasoned pro.
Many different levels of prizes are available!

---July 1st - August 1st - Tourist Game---

For the entire month of July, LegendMUD will be running the 'Tourist
Game', a game that involves mobs from one area of Legend showing up on
vacation somewhere completely unexpected. All it takes to play the game
is keeping an eye open for out-of-place folks in typical tourist outfits!
The game has been built to be available from level 1 through level 50.

---August (Date t.b.a.) - LegendMUD Job Fair---

LegendMUD will be hosting their first Job Fair during the month of August.
The Job Fair is a separate area built with two purposes in mind: for folks
to find a job and for everyone to have fun! There are areas for clans to
recruit new members, Employers to advertise for servants/squires/maids/etc,
and Employees to find masters/teachers/etc. A great chance to make social
connections within LegendMUD to further your roleplay development, expand
your clan, or just meet new folks. In addition, there are a number of mini
games set up that everyone gets to play and that offer fun prizes!
