Q: I had a character on OtherSpace: The Farthest Star but didn't get to attend the crossover event that led everyone to Hiverspace. Am I screwed?
A: Nope. We'll just say you were one of the refugees on Hancock Station and conveniently @tport you to the new universe.
Q: I had a character on OtherSpace: Millennium but didn't get to attend the crossover event that led everyone to Hiverspace. You always did like The Farthest Star best! I'm screwed, right?
A: Nope. We'll just say you were aboard Tharsis or the Stars and Garters Casino and conveniently @tport you to the new universe.
Q: I had a character on Chiaroscuro but didn't get to attend the crossover event that led everyone to Hiverspace. You were closing us down anyway. I'm screwed, right?
A: Nope. Well, mostly nope. In many cases, we can say that your character was in the Lightholder Crossroads of Fastheld when the Gateway Eye burst open and took everyone to Comorro Station. Our only exceptions to this: Syladris and Moss Men. Sorry!
Q: I haven't made a character on OtherSpace but I want to use one of the old universe races for my character concept. Is that okay?
A: Sorry, no. Only existing characters from the old universe are allowed to exist. We want to focus on populating the world with new alien races, such as the Hekayti and the Lotorians.
Q: I want to play a documented Hiverspace alien race that isn't open for applications yet. Is that cool?
A: We won't consider applications for races that aren't currently open for players. Sorry!
Q: I want to make up my own alien race. Would you mind?
A: Well, hold that thought. It's not a possibility yet, but we do intend to allow players to invent their own alien races later in the evolution of the new OtherSpace.
