No, your trolling was not really that subtle. While you may have been wanting a constructive discussion on the DIKU license, they have all been done many times before and almost without fail it turns into flamewar of some type. If there was some new information you had brought to the table then there was a slight chance (very slight), but broadly "estimating" everyone is breaking the DIKU license is nothing but trolling for flames.
