Artifice is a highly modified Rom mud, and we are currently looking for experienced, quality builders to join our staff. Our coder has gone to great lengths to modify the Rom OLC (ILAB) by eliminating the redundancy and tedium of the command structure so that the builders may focus more on the creative design aspects of their masterpieces.
The Artifice administration members are composed of mature professionals who have a combined 30 years of experience in coding, mud administration, and building. The head coder is a professional software engineer, and the two creators are educated and experienced in technical project management, human resources, and supervisory positions. We are dedicated to the Artifice project, and we anticipate a certain level of maturity, seriousness, and devotion from our applicants.
Our theme is medieval/fantasy, and our storyline will be determined by localized myths and legends authored into the areas by our building staff. We have also implemented mprogs, oprogs, rprogs, eprogs, object invocations, object joiners, and alternating room descriptions according to the time of day (it is probable dynamic room descriptions will replace this in the future). There is opportunity at Artifice for all builders to retain a permanent immortal position, and promotions will be based on consistent, quality work, the ability to work well with others, the desire for more influence over ideas and responsibilities, and as relationships build among the staff.
