Well, since you asked. Dartmud has had crafting fully integrated for 10+ years and we have around twenty different crafting skills.

Some skills are used for obtaining raw materials: mining to extract ore from mines, lumbering to chop down one of over 40 varieties of trees, fishing to catch fish, lobster, crab and various other shellfish, farming to grow around 60 different kinds of plants, herding to raise cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, goats, geese or ducks and acquire eggs, fleeces and milk, stone working to cut around 40 different kinds of stone, herbalism to gather materials from the landscape, hunting to find animals in the wilderness, tanning to get skins and hides and butchering to get meat off of the carcasses of animals.

Then there are intermediate crafts such as metallurgy to smelt ore into ingots of metal or make various alloys, milling to make flour from grain, lumbering again to extract board from trees, chandlery to make plant materials (either farmed or gathered) into dyes

Finished goods can be made with smithing, wood working, leather working, sewing, ceramics, alchemy, brewing, and cooking.

Almost every piece of equipment a character uses can be crafted from weapons, armor, and tools, to clothes, food, and drink.

Our system is based on recipes which specify ingredients, tools and skills needed to make something. Sometimes several things can be used to fulfill a certain ingredient which allows a crafter to customize the final product.

For example, you can have a steel longsword with a bronze guard and an ebony grip, or a pair lizard skin boots trimmed with red fox fur, or a red silk velvet hooded cloak embroidered with celtic knotwork in gold thread.

I haven't bothered to count the number of items that are craftable, but our food directory alone holds over 300 recipes.
