First, RetroMUD's hard drive died. Then, a week after we fixed it, our ISP went bankrupt.

But you can't keep a good MUD down! Now we're back, with a machine a thousand times more powerful. The lagbeast has been slaughtered and we found out he wasn't that high a level after all.

RetroMUD consists of no less than six worlds, each with its own unique theme. Battle djinn in the air world of Raji, fight fishfolk in the water world of Wysoom, bag yourself a Tyrannosaurus in the steaming jungles of Sosel, wander the massive underground complex in the dead world of Crypt, go wild in the crazy and violent place known as Perdow...or just go dragon hunting in medieval fashion on Welstar.
