There are other places to post reviews, like RPG.net
As for what they said, you can have them make a repost countering their original postings if they now like the Game in suppoirt of it.
And, also, if I may ask, what is the name of this Game you're trying to help? TMC is quite capable of helping MUD's out with advertisement space, as it does attract a fair amount of MUD seekers looking for games to play.
It wouldn't hurt.
