The 4th Code Challenge for Online Text Game Developers is now published.
The Challenge:
Build a series of functions or classes that will allow users to play a card game with each other, or with an artificial interface. The software should be expandable enough to allow for multiple card games using your code. ( blackjack, poker, spades, solitaire, etc )
This challenge is different from the others; in that you can use pre-existing code in your work. The pre-existing code which can be used is any of the previous Card Deck & Hand libraries supplied in the first code challenge. You can also opt to create your own deck and hand handlers.
The details on required functions are left out for a purpose. Since this is a framework aproach, you are not limited to a specific design pattern or functionality requirement. The requirements are limited to Pseudo-Code definition located in the Code Challenge page. A hearty thanks to Elanthis for his assistance in the publishing of this challenge.
The Challenge ends on January 1st, 2007. That is a 6 month period of development time.
I am seeking Sponsors to this challenge. One prize is currently available, a 500.00 USD check.
Good luck to all contestants!
