Edit: Seriously though... Its, at least for now, a purely thematic thing that is hard to translate into a game system that would work. Like you say, what would happen to the players? Originally, it was said that some sort of reinc takes place, but I feel that most types of players would not like that. So for now... It is a purely thematic thing that keeps sticking around in the concept files, nothing more. On the other hand, we do have a time system, so we are not totally static.
