TMS has listing and search options for graphical muds, so I'm not sure I agree. There's also the problem of defining "text" and "graphics" - most muds utilise both text and graphics to some degree, so where do you draw the line? Particularly when graphics are handled by the client, meaning that unless the mud restricts your choice of client (which can be difficult to enforce against a determined user), they can't actually control how much graphics you see. I think most of us could judge this on a case-by-case basis, but if we're excluding certain groups there would need to be a clearly defined rule.
I think it would be easier to focus on the definition of a "mud" rather than try to categorise games based on how much graphical content they have. I don't think we'll see the big commercial MMORPGs advertising here anyway, but it might be nice to see some of the free smaller ones mingling with the TMS crowd.
