Thanks to everyone that came out opening night! We saw 21 new accounts opened in the first 4 hours alone. More amazing is how long everyone has stayed, and how many continue to come back.

For those of you looking for a community but are perhaps reluctant to invest time into a new game, I certainly understand. Anyone in this genre for any length of time has played a game that has closed up on them. It's discouraging as hell. It happened to those of us on the staff and this is why we are here now. It's been 5 years since the idea first came to us, so if nothing else that should speak to our commitment and longevity. We have dedicated hosting for the game and website, active forums, and very low overhead costs. It all adds up to us being here for a long time to come.

We are definitely a Roleplay first game. The staff is made up of players who favor RP over mechanics. We strive for a balance of both, but we certainly favor one area over the other. Skills and a great combat system are nice, but not everyone has time for that grind. What keeps players is creating world events and scenarios that engage them and make them want to return to see what will happen next.
