I played Darkover since it began back in the mid-90's (as Korova and Kharne). I worked with Launt, the original owner/operator back in high school. He helped me start a business and attending my wedding. We remained close until I moved to another city about 6 years ago.
It sucks to see it come to an end, I was close to having a 3x Monk. I had not logged in for about 3 months and tried this morning just so my equipment would not disappear. Some google searching turnd up this thread.
I am not sure I will ever mud again.
