That wasn't a lament for Drizzt. I used him as an example because he is outside of the norm and also so well known.

I used the Silmarillion's High Elves because they fit somewhat closely to your description of them, Pleos. They don't love nature and prance around in the forests. They would never help evil directly... they are self righteous and arrogant tho, and as can be seen with some recent events IRL that can be bad.

Riddling your char with faults is exactly what I'm talking about
