Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
Looks good, backed you up!
Don't know that I'll actually play the game, but no matter. I hope you get a strong show of support from this community. |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
Thanks dude. I really appreciate that.
We're hoping to have a "big tent" in the community for the game. We're very interested to hear people's feedback and ideas as well. |

UPDATE #1 Posted:
I also wanted to specifically thank and for backing our project. If there are other people on this site that have backed, please PM me (if you want) so I know who you are here. It means a lot to have the support of fellow colleagues. Thanks! |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
I just backed it I wish I could have backed for more - getting ingame credit on Threshold was tempting. I have stuff sitting on my character. One day, I need to dust it off and play

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
You have my moral support, even though I'm on the baby budget and my wife just conned me into financing some new bedroom furniture because our perfectly good mattress was hurting her back, which clearly warrants an entirely new bedroom set rather than just a new mattress. Sorry to be out of dollars. I'm a huge Threshold/Frogdice fan. Threshold was my first serious roleplaying mud years and years and years ago, and though it's morphed a little bit over the years into something that's different than my first experience but still fun in countless new ways, and I have next to no time to play muds, I continue cheer you on in the back of my mind.
Every one of your non-Threshold productions, Dungeon of Elements included, is something that has me saying, "I would so play that game if I were still young and had time for video games -- those guys had better still be making games when my kids are off to college." |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
Nice screenshots. That is a good looking game. Congrats on getting over halfway to your goal already. Although I am not much of a puzzle gamer, it looks like there will be something in there for everybody, and I will definitely check it out. I wish I could give you a big contribution, but my budget as an unemployed writer won't allow it.

We intend to still be kicking for many decades to come .
I just wanted to say to both of you that even a $1 pledge is appreciated and makes you a backer so you can follow updates and comment. |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
YAY! Thank you so much! It really means a great deal to have the support of my MUD community colleagues.
Lasher also backed us, which I believe brings the total up to 5 people from the TMS/MUD community. I really, really appreciate your support. Threshold is always going to be the most special game in our portfolio, but branching out into these other areas is important to our growth and our ability to gainfully employ more folks. We also like to think we are contributing some interesting, unique games to the gaming marketplace. Thank you again so much. I can't say enough about what it means to us! |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
Fair enough. Just pledged you a buck. I'll skip my energy drink tomorrow morning and make 20 cents profit.
I really need to start a kick starter project. Some guys with an idea for a MMO trading card game apparently got 1.7 million in pledges. I think there was an xkcd comic making fun of kick starter awhile back, now that I think about it. Last edited by SnowTroll : 06-03-2013 at 06:14 PM. |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
That's the same thing I was thinking. I was browsing through the "small projects" section and was thinking, "I could do this!" I'm going through my old idea file (mostly game ideas, but I had some small business ones there as well) and re-thinking a bunch of those.

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
Thanks SnowTroll! Hugely appreciated.
We have added a number of updates to the campaign. A few that folks might find particularly interesting: Thanks again everyone. Your support really means a lot. |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
A few more folks from here backed, but they didn't tell me their usernames here so I can't thank them directly. If you are one of those folks, please message me on Kickstarter so I know who you are here! Getting to 100% before the last 48 hours is important. At 48 hours to go, everyone who visited the project and clicked "REMIND ME" gets an alert. If they see the project is a success, they are more likely to join in because they know they're actually going to get the game. We also just put out our 9th update: Thanks again for all the support! |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
is funded! Thank you friends, fans, and colleagues that pledged and helped spread the word. It has been incredibly moving and gratifying to watch so many great people help us in this project.
Now we move on to the FUN PART! = Stretch Goals! We have tons of additional content we would love to add to the game. New weapons, levels, bosses, and more. YOU CAN STILL JOIN UP AND HELP! ** 4 days left! ** Check out the add-ons and higher pledge tiers, and keep spreading the word! Thanks so much everyone! So many people from the TMS community backed us and helped spread the word. That really means a lot to us. |

Re: Dungeon of Elements - RPG Kickstarter
The campaign was a success and we even hit a few stretch goals.
I want to once again thank everyone from this community who backed our project. I know there were some who didn't tell me who they were. I tried to pester people in PMs and find out (thanks Sombalance!). Seriously though, it really meant a lot to us to have the support of so many nice folks from the MUD/TMS community. |
