<Removed, because it will likely spur on the legal discussion>
If you want to discuss the legal aspects, then it would be best to do that on the legal board. Thanks much. |

Just wanted to write that I'm quite impressed with Aardwolf's voting so far. Ahead of us even with a renewed effort on our part to out-vote them. Well done guys!

The answer is that, yes, by rewarding donations Aardwolf is commercialising itself, which violates the Diku license. However as Orion points out, such legalities would be better discussed in the legal forum.

Yea! Go aardwolf. :) It is pretty amazing that aardwolf has been able to get this many votes. I'm rather proud of us. :) *minor gloat* Been watching this thread for days and unable to respond because I hadn't been authorized. Aardwolf does have an advantage because of the extremely dedicated and somewhat large player base. :) At the time of writing this note I just typed 'count'
There are 417 characters on, the most on this reboot was 458. I don't know how many players Achaea has online normally, or what their player base in, so I don't know how we compare. And good work Achaea on the voting! It has been hard to keep ahead! Jaenelle who needs to go figure out how to set a signature... |

Gah, now look what you did. You went and woke Jaenelle up, and now you have to put up with her spam as much on here as we do on the MUD.
Don't say I didn't warn you ;) So I don't go off topic, it's nice to see Aard doing so well. We were doing well before, of course, but it's always nice to see a bunch of numbers which validate this :) |

Just wanted to congratulate Aardwolf on an excellent run for first this last round. No other mud has ever made us work that hard to stay in the #1 position. Certainly the closest Achaea has come to 'losing' since we first listed on the site.

Yes, the outcome was quite in doubt! Although I have to admit I was impressed that Aardwolf managed to spam almost as many votes as you did.

And here's to many more runs! *chugs* Our player base is noticeably growing now that we're not relying only on word of mouth. :)
