Rp Event on Burning Post II (April 29)

Come join us to pay tribute to the Day of the Dead this Oryl 31 in the Year of our Lord 624. (Event is tentatively set to Monday, April 29th)

Mass will be led by the Bishop of New Yarsith Theodore Riverside in the reconstructed Church north of the city square. All Davites and those wishing to hear the words of our King Dav from Our Lord of the Springs are asked to attend.

After mass, those who wish to pay their respect to family members and friends who have left for Paradise may purchase flowers and cakes for the dead at the city square to bring to the cemetery. This gathering is meant to allow loved ones to reflect on memories of their deceased and share tales with their fellow citizens.

The evening is then spent socializing at the local taverns or at private parties around the city. Cooks and brewers will be busy preparing meals and drinks to celebrate the night with joyful company. Patrons are encouraged to find a location to raise a glass to the deceased. In fact, one of the establishments will be hosting the talents of a local bard: Bonaventure op Fortunato, newly arrived from his village off the coast of the Kirulean Sea.

The Burning Post II is an RPI game with a few interesting events having transpired lately. Magic is considered legal now, though it is still very much an underground practice as Davites (the religious sect of the region) have been bred to seek them out to have their souls cleansed through purification by fire. Not only do the Reeves have this relationship to handle, but there has also been a string of murders and thievery that have yet to be solved.
Please come and check us out before the event starts! Port: 4321 to get started.
