LegendMUD - San Francisco (+Christmas!)
I stretch and yawn, looking around the city as I get off the train in Industrial
San Francisco. I wander off the platform and into the main city itself, eager to explore and perhaps find a new adventure. The people here seem friendly, waving to me and greeting me in a happy manner. I immediately notice the presence of the local sheriff and several of his deputies. Makes me wonder: am I in danger of stepping into the middle of a grand scale shoot out? Wandering slowly on, I notice a Barber Shop and enter, thinking a hair cut might be a good idea. As I settle in to wait for my turn, I notice an important looking man already seated in the Barber's chair. He turns to me and says.... Taken from actual game- The Barber Shop A red and white striped pole stands as a universal symbol. People in these parts would much rather go to a real black bag toting doctor for their ailments though. You can get your hair trimmed real neat and a shave for just a few ounces of gold dust. The high chairs and mirrors show you where to sit for service. [Exits: e] Fred McGillam is here ready to give you a trim. Mayor Casey is sitting here in the barber's chair. Mayor Casey smiles at you. Mayor Casey shakes your hand. Mayor Casey says to you, 'You'll vote for me next election, right?' Hmm. Perhaps I will after I've had time to explore this city a bit more. And I'll need to find a voting station. Initial impressions aside, I'll need to know a bit more about the candidates too. LegendMUD is well into it's 15th year. This is an example of one of the many choices big and small to be made within the game. Come join our friendly and exciting community.
