Very nice! It's good to see reviews and posts like that out there as they will hopefully bring more new folks to the MUDding community.

N4G (and brighthub) look like community review sites like DooYoo and CIAO. People write articles and then fellow reviewers rate them. If they are highly rated (certainly on DooYoo and Ciao) you usually get rewards of some kind... at least you did on the aforementioned sites.
I used to get rather a lot of crowns on DooYoo.. earned several hundred dollars in vouchers. Basically if the -review- is good, it can become front page material (as it appears this one is, as if you click PC it is there for the whole world to see).. the actual topic is not the relevant issue. This must clearly be a good review of the game. Keeping this review on the front page is obviously good for Threshold, but by proxy also good for getting people remembering that muds exist. However the only way to keep the review on the front page is to comment. |
