The idea for Time of Troubles began 5 years ago on paper, slowly it advanced to a simple RoT code base where we learned the basics of mud administration. From here we branched out to other code bases. At one point, I quit this project and saved it for later times.

The disk was found close to a year ago, and I loaded up a near stock version of Sundermud2.1 (rom 2.3 derived) and began to plug in all the ideas and code from our old beast. Slowly over time Troubles has developed into a beauty of a place with a countless amount of interesting features. Troubles is a pk optional mud with a strong emphasis on class distinction. Each class is very unique and still being fine tuned at this moment.

Troubles is an extremely indepth game with much potential and fun times to be had. Our Immortal staff is extremely willing to listen to all input, and have been doing this for many, many years. We have customized countless amounts of the code, but we will not attempt to list them here like so many other muds. We feel you must see Troubles to actually appreciate the indepth game-engine.
