TinTin++ is a free Mud client for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. The Windows port uses PuTTY for its terminal emulation.

Recent changes: Added support for auto tab completion based on the scrollback buffer, and added a hack to prevent losing the cursor position in split mode.

Supported protocols: Character Mode, GA, MCCP, MudMaster Chat, NAWS, TELNET, VT100.

1.99 implies a 2.0+ is coming soon. What do you have planned?

The next release will be 1.99.1 so it should be another year till 2.0.

There's not a whole lot left on my todo list, mainly to add Perl compatible regular expressions. Tintin is using POSIX expressions at the moment which aren't as powerful.

MXP isn't an option given it's a console client, MSP is difficult to add with a cross-platform client. I'm considering adding some support for people to handle their own TELNET negotiations so a MSP script can be written.

Hoping to get this done around 1.99.5 and fix bugs for a while so I can release a stable 2.0 version and take a break from the whole mud client business for a while.
