RPMUD Network Election 2009 Information
The RPMUD Network Operating Committee consists of five standing members and three members elected from and by the community of Role-Play MU*s. The annual election for these three seats is the first weekend in December (Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6). Any MU* with a policy of enforced role-play may opt to run a candidate for one of the three elected seats. Only the games themselves may select a candidate for these seats but their candidate may be anyone they choose. To do so, please email staff<at>rpmud<dot>net with the name of your game's candidate, their contact information so we can verify they wish to run, and the name and contact information of your game which is sponsoring them to us by November 26. We will verify the information and contact you again before the election. We will also be emailing as many RP MU*s as we can find contact information for in the following weeks but if you see this post and know of a game that qualifies, please pass on the information. Ballots will be emailed to every RP MU* on December 5. Good luck!

Correction on the dates of the election. Balloting will be on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6. Sorry about the wrong numbers. No idea why I typed the wrong ones.

Re: RPMUD Network Election 2009 Information
Had trouble finding this post, so I thought I'd give it a tiny bump in case anyone else is interested. There's a deadline involved, so don't miss it!

Re: RPMUD Network Election 2009 Information
The RPMUD Network Elections are rapidly approaching and the deadline to submit a candidate is by Friday, November 27. Candidates from any Role-Play enforced/mandatory game may be chosen by whatever means the game wishes to employ and should be emailed to staff<at>rpmud<dot>net with the candidate's name, contact email and name of the sponsoring game. A confirmation email will be sent to the MU* and to the candidate to verify the candidacy.
The following is the schedule for the RPMUD Network 2009 elections: Again, any Role-Play enforced/mandatory MU* may submit a candidate for one of the three open seats on the Operating Committee by emailing staff<at>rpmud<dot>net with the name of the candidate, their contact email and the name of the game that is sponsoring them. Thank you and good luck to all the candidates! |
